What I'm Loving this Fall

Happy October, friends! The crisp, cool weather is in full swing and I could not be enjoying it more. I’ve pulled out all the sweaters and can’t wait to cook several new soup recipes. This season, there are so many things I’m loving, and like a best friend, I want to share them with you! Coming up: my fall fashion picks, a go-to fall salad recipe, and a few rhythms I’m practicing to make the most of this time of year.

What I’m Wearing:

I always love a good neutral sweater and I can’t wait to renew the staples in my closet this year. I’ll be dressing up my warmer clothes with these Spanx faux leather pants and suede pointed Birdie flats.

What I’m Cooking:

Something you may not think about too often are fall salads. Mixing roasted butternut squash (or substitute with sweet potatoes) with your salad base of choice, embraces the tastes of the season while still getting all the nutrients you crave. I’m planning on bringing this Quinoa Salad with Roasted Squash, Caramelized Onions and Wilted Spinach to a ladies’ lunch in a few weeks. Make it a weeknight meal by adding a piece of salmon on top, or even consider having it as a side dish this Thanksgiving!

Decor I’m Loving:

While orange accents and pumpkins will always be fall decor staples for many, I’m embracing a soft, earthy seasonal palette. Weathered plaid textures, terracotta planters, and forest greens (one of my all time favorite colors!) can transform your home into a cozy autumn haven.

Rhythm I’m Practicing:

Can I just say - there’s nothing quite like the feeling of a chilly fall morning. Natural light pouring in through the windows, a fresh cup of coffee, and my favorite candle burning. I’m making a point to wake up a little earlier in the mornings, allowing myself time to really enjoy these cooler temps and start my day with gratitude and clarity of mind.

I’d love to know, what are YOU loving this season? Head on over to my Instagram and tag me in one or two of your favorite finds or shoot me a DM. Talk soon, friends!
